iPhone 16 pre-order sale to start today: Know offers, deals and other details

Earlier this week, Apple unveiled the iPhone 16 series with Apple Intelligence and a powerful A18 chipset. The series includes four devices: iPhone 16, 16 Plus, 16 Pro and 16 Pro Max. And starting today, Apple enthusiasts can secure their latest flagship device through pre-booking. You can pre-order any of these models today, post 5:30PM in India. These pre-ordered iPhones will be delivered on September 20.
To pre-book the iPhone 16, customers have multiple options, including visiting the Apple Store, Apple India’s official website, or online marketplaces like Flipkart and Amazon, as well as various retail outlets. Following the pre-booking phase, the iPhone 16 series will be officially available for purchase starting September 20, both online and in-store, allowing buyers to get their hands on the latest Apple devices.
The standard variant of iPhone 16 starts at Rs 79,900 for 128GB. Let’s recap the pricing for all models and their variants.

The launch prices of the iPhone 16 base models remain similar to its predecessor, iPhone 15 series. But the 16 pro models are actually cheaper than the iPhone 15 Pro models. Over and above, Apple is also offering some bank offers on the recently launched series. Customers pre-booking the iPhone 16 on Apple India’s website can receive an instant discount of Rs 5,000 when using credit or debit cards from participating banks, including American Express, Axis Bank, and ICICI Bank, providing a convenient and rewarding payment option.
iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus: Both of the devices bring a revamped design reminiscent of the iPhone X, featuring a dual-camera setup in a capsule-shaped island. The iPhone 16 comes with a 6.1-inch display, while the iPhone 16 Plus offers a larger 6.7-inch screen. The iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus will be available in five colours: black, white, pink, teal, and ultramarine.
All models of the iPhone 16 series are powered by the advanced A18 chipset, which utilises second-generation 3nm technology for enhanced performance and efficiency. The iPhone 16 and 16 Plus come with a 48-megapixel Fusion main camera, combining 48-megapixel and 12-megapixel photos into a clear 24-megapixel image, featuring a 2x telephoto zoom and a faster f/1.6 aperture for improved low-light photography.
iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max: Both the models have a similar design to the iPhone 15 Pro models. The iPhone 16 Pro and Pro Max retain a design similar to the iPhone 15 Pro, with the Pro model featuring a 6.3-inch display and the Pro Max boasting a massive 6.9-inch screen. Both Pro models include thinner borders and 120Hz ProMotion displays.
The Pro models will be available in four colour options: Black Titanium, White Titanium, Natural Titanium, and a new Desert Titanium. The iPhone 16 Pro models are powered by the A18 Pro chip.
